I would like start by saying thank you to all of the residents of church hill, and friends of Chimborazo for tolerating and, excepting the skate boarders over time are street skating locations around the city have been shrinking which is why you may have seen more skateboarders showing up over the past three years it's hard to believe a city the size of Richmond still doesn't have skate park with in its city limits so if there is a budget or an interest to provide an official skate park for the many skateboarders of Richmond V.A. we would all be very grateful and hopefully be a part of other efforts to further enhance Chimborazo park and Church hill

chess tables! i'd love to see chess tables installed in the park re-design this company sells park benches, too. with over a million being spent to re-design the park i find it hard to believe park benches would have to be donated.

FYI, on the issue of accessibility, BAM Architects wrote in an email that "The intention all along has been to make the entire playground inclusive for all with everything being designed and detailed in such a way as to meet all the requirements for handicapped accessibility. Half the problem now [of the current playground] is the stairs and fences everywhere."

Please please please consider making the playground accessible to all kids with varying abilities, including toddlers. I'm sure everyone will have a great time and this allows all kids to play together in an inclusive environment which can be a positive experience for everyone involved.

I hope everyone is aware that there is a drinking fountain at the end of the asphalt nearest 30th ST. It is not located very well but it will serve the purpose if you are thirsty. Let's hope that in the redesign it can be closer to the playground maybe even under one of the pavillions.
